This elderly woman, living on her own, has faced two devastating floods in the past five years. Each disaster has taken everything she had, forcing her to start over time and time again.
With no access to insurance and only a small amount of government assistance, recovery has been incredibly difficult. Despite the hardship, she has continued to face each day with quiet strength and determination, doing her best to rebuild her life once more.
The emotional toll of repeated disasters, combined with the challenges of living alone, has left her feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. We are sharing her story to help remind her that she is not forgotten and that there is a community standing beside her during this difficult chapter.
