Our client has recently been granted full custody of his young son after an exhausting eight‑month court battle. His son, who has just started Prep, has already experienced significant trauma, including witnessing an overdose.
Now caring for his son full‑time, our client is starting from nothing and has lost his job as a chef to prioritise his child’s safety and wellbeing. He is fully reliant on Centrelink, facing severe financial hardship due to court costs, and struggling to afford basic essentials and rent.
The family’s only current support is a mental health service as they work to rebuild stability after prolonged uncertainty. Our client’s goal is to create a safe, secure home where his son can finally experience stability and care. Any support will make a meaningful difference as they rebuild their lives together.
