The client is currently 4 years old and is not yet using the toilet for bowel movements. He is unable to sit confidently on a standard adult toilet due to inadequate postural support, as his feet are unable to rest securely on the floor and he struggles to maintain an upright and stable sitting position. This impacts his confidence and ability to participate in toileting for bowel movements.
He requires financial support to purchase a toilet training system that provides appropriate foot, pelvic, and trunk support, enabling him to sit safely and comfortably on the toilet. This item will increase his confidence, independence, and participation in toileting and support progress towards achieving age-appropriate toileting skills.
