Single parent family with daughter about to enter into Year 12 to complete ATAR studies. This family has experienced significant family and domestic violence, and Mum is doing everything she can to provide for her daughter and make a fresh start. Mums goal is to help her daughter achieve her educational goals, but when you are financially struggling it is hard to fill all the commitments needed to start the school year in the right direction.
This young student needs to have the booklist/stationary requirements met and some new uniforms before the beginning of the school year starts in the next few weeks. She is also trying to achieve her driving license this year, but the cost of lessons makes this a slow process. Mum and daughter work closely together. Even though Mum works by the time the rent and bills are paid and other household expenses are met there is always the gap in income for these extra items. Any help would be appreciated to make a fresh start for the school year.
