Communities across rural East Gippsland are experiencing ongoing hardship due to financial stress, isolation, and limited access to essential services. Many individuals and families are struggling to afford basic personal care items, with toiletries often being one of the first things people go without when budgets are stretched. Access to supermarkets and support services can be limited in remote areas, and the rising cost of living has made everyday essentials such as shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, sanitary products, and nappies increasingly unaffordable for some households. This can significantly impact dignity, health, and wellbeing. Toiletry donations are urgently needed to support vulnerable people, including low-income families, individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and those recovering from crisis situations. These items are essential, not optional, and help people maintain hygiene, confidence, and a sense of normalcy. Your support will make a direct and meaningful difference to people in our local community who are doing it tough.

We support individuals and families across rural East Gippsland who are experiencing financial hardship, social isolation, and limited access to essential supports. The region faces significant structural disadvantage, with long distances between towns, limited public transport, and a shortage of local services creating ongoing barriers for people trying to access help.

Funding constraints continue to impact the availability and scope of support across the area. Demand for assistance has increased due to cost-of-living pressures, yet resources have not kept pace. This has resulted in gaps in service delivery, reduced outreach capacity, and limited availability of material aid to meet immediate needs.
