A 52 yo single woman has been living in her old Toyota Corolla for the past six years after fleeing Domestic Violence to stay safe. What began as an emergency became long-term survival. Every day she faces extreme hardship without stable shelter, privacy or proper rest.
She lives with significant medical conditions — a monitored brain tumour, severe hearing loss, constant loud tinnitus and two recent foot surgeries that were unsuccessful, leaving ongoing pain and limited mobility. Managing her health while living in a car is exhausting and unsafe.
Without refrigeration she cannot store fresh food or medication safely, making it difficult to meet her nutritional and medical needs. A small car fridge would allow her to keep food, drinks and essential items safe, improving her health and dignity.
Despite years of hardship she continues to endure with resilience. Support would not be a luxury — it would directly improve her wellbeing & daily survival. Any offers would be appreciated.
