Single mother of two teenagers, financial hardship due to having to evacuate when the fires went through their town.

This is a single mother; she is also disabled and unable to work.
When the fire occurred near her home she and her two children, plus animals had to evacuate, Mum and the two kids stayed in a motel while the animals went to boarding kennels. They had to stay away for a week.
When they returned to their home although the house wasn't destroyed all of the furniture, linen and clothes were covered in smoke and ash.
Mother has found that she is not eligible for any financial support because her home wasn't destroyed.
She has building insurance but not contents.
Since returning home, due to the money spent on evacuating ($3.500) which was her savings, she is behind on bills, the kids school needs and is finding it hard to even shop for food.
She now needs to replace linen, have the furniture professionally cleaned and is not able to afford to do that.
