Providing a suitcase/duffle bag filled with essential items and some comfort items to children entering care
GIVIT
Hope in a Suitcase Australia exists to provide children entering foster care and out-of-home-care a brand new suitcase or duffle bag filled with new clothing, toiletries and other items to give them a sense of self worth, dignity and hope during very traumatic and confusing time in their lives. We are a registered charity however we do not receive any Govt funding so rely on the community for their donations and support in bringing hope to hundreds of children. These children deserve to have belingings of their own which will bring them comfort and security as their journey often sadly has them move from place to place which can be very frightening and traumatising.
