78 year old farmer, lost 80 sheep in the Victorian Bushfire and his income, no insurance, limited access to grants
2026 Victoria Bushfires
This Aussie battler is facing trying times, 150 sheep were killed by the neighbor's dog just before the fire. Purchased 100 new sheep late 2025, 80 of them didn’t survive the fire. The farm also had a caravan on it that was used 3 times per week to service the farm, the caravan was destroyed by the fire. Also lost all fencing, sheds, feed and a previously club registered historic vehicle. No insurance.
