In this part of Lismore, homes were swept from their foundations and extensive damage was sustained by floating debris including water tanks and small vehicles. This home is one of many Lismore homes that has it's living area on a second story, 3 meters above a storage area, and still the flood water rose to almost ceiling height on the second story. My client has not been able to return to his home due to the damage, and the potential safety hazards posed by this. Fortunately, the team from "Container of Dreams" have donated and constructed a "tiny Home" on my client's property, and he is now able to live on his own property for the foreseeable future. This request is for donation of insulation for the walls and ceiling of the home. Work to line the walls is being donated the "Two Rooms" project, but the materials are not included. With a very hot Northern Rivers summer approaching, and time constraints for Two Rooms work, my client is seeking help with the cost of insulation.
