Assisting local disadvantaged community members
GIVIT
Part of our service is providing crisis support. We provide assistance with food, toiletry/personal items and household cleaning from our community pantry to those who are in financial hardship. We also have a group of Volunteers who cook weekly to ensure our clients are getting nutritious home cooked meals.
The demand for community service organisations like ours, has increased greatly over the past 6 months. We assist between 30-50 clients each weekday and have had a huge increase in new clients.
Whilst the demand for our service has significantly increased, unfortunately our funding has not. Due to this we rely heavily on donations in order to continue to provide the assistance we do and ensure that disadvantaged individuals and families do not go without.
Please ensure all donations are unused/unopened and where applicable in date.
