He receives income support only, which is not enough to cover basic living costs, including high rent and ongoing arrears. He often relies on food pantries and cannot afford essential items. As reported, he has never been to the local supermarket to do grocery stoppings.
He is currently unemployed while waiting for assessment of his overseas qualifications. He is volunteering and studying to improve his job prospects but has no work income at this stage.
