Tablet

Capalaba QLD 4157

The school that my client's two children attend are asking for them to acquire an iPad each in order to complete their homework; preferably with stylus pens as accessories. These can be either bought brand new or used second-hand. I am willing to personally collect them if necessary.

Recipient story

Parents struggling to afford educational activities for their young children and tuition fees.
GIVIT
First Nations Support
This is a family with four children from Papua New Guinea. They are being provided emergency accommodation while they try to find a place to call home in the Brisbane area in the midst of the housing crisis. Three children are attending school, with one child not school-aged yet, while the father is trying to find stable work. The mother is currently studying for a Certificate 4 in Aged Care, paying for it out of her own pocket.

The father is an First Nations Australian, while the wife and children are PNG Nationals. They have applied for citizenship, which could take up to three years to approve, so they are on limited Centrelink support. The parents moved to Brisbane to seek a better outcome for his children here, as they were living in unsuitable conditions while in PNG.

Any assistance that can be given to this family in need would be most appreciated. Thank you.
