My client is a grandmother in her sixties who has recently had four of her grandchildren placed in her care. She has her own ongoing health issues, and the responsibility of caring for four children has created significant financial strain. Despite her best efforts, she is struggling to meet the family’s basic needs, and the household requires urgent support.

The family is in need of financial assistance to help with food and essential daily living expenses. In addition, several key household items need replacing. Their fridge is not functioning properly, making it difficult to store food safely. They also require single bed frames and mattresses for the children, as well as a kitchen table and chairs to support daily routines such as meals, homework, and family activities.

Support in any of these areas would greatly assist in stabilising the household and ensuring the wellbeing of the children in her care.
