Our client is a homeless, mentally ill Aboriginal woman who is frequently in trouble with the law. She often alienates her supports and is easily resistant to care givers and subsequently finds herself alone.
She does come to our office frequently seeking a simple cup of coffee and cookies and a financial donation from the staff.
She presents as socially isolated has difficulty problem solving simple life skills and when she is receptive to support she is grateful and a pleasure to be around.
Our client's mental health would benefit by gaining some essential possessions to make her feel valued by others in the community.
