Some children arrive at school with a very full backpack of overwhelm and stress.
Due to challenges within their home and living environments they can find it hard to make friends and come to school regularly and feel like they can ask for help if something comes up.
Aboriginal and Torres strait islander children who have experienced intergenerational trauma can struggle asking for help so we support their families in accessing food relief.
We support students throughout a range of things that may come up throughout the day.
- Food for lunch
- Spare clothes and uniforms
- Spare undies and socks
- Bags, lunchboxes and drink bottles.
We are looking for donations such as Kmart vouchers or Supermarket vouchers which can support our students with accessing the spare resources during vulnerable moments.
