Client is separated from wife, and they share custody of their son. His son was born with health issues and he is currently under the care of paediatrics/palliative care specialist and given limited time. My client is wanting to spend as much quality time as possible with his son. The client has not been able to have his son stay over due to needing to declutter his house and yard. He has had some assistance to declutter/clean some spaces within the home, but he also needs to clear outside and cut grass to a manageable length so we can organise government care providers to come in on a regular basis.
Client has significant health issues of his own so tackling the amount of work on his small acreage block and inside his house has been very challenging. Not being able to have his son over due to the state of his property has sent his mental health spiralling which then impacts his motivation levels to clean.
