Laptop

Client is deaf, cannot speak is a single mother on a low income. She relies on using Auslan to communicate. She is a highly motivated, independent and courageous woman, and in her usual style has been seeking work without assistance solidly again for the last 6 months to a year. Although she has received the odd response and rare job interview, she has not been able to receive any feedback on these attempts and more importantly a job. She would love to become more financially independent, become more of a positive role model to her pre-teen daughter and earn enough money to support them both. She was previously looking for work using her laptop, however now it needs to be repaired however the quotes are too high, and she will need to purchase another in order to keep looking for work. Although we are trying to assist as best we can in her referring her to job supports, ultimately, she always requires the use of a laptop to search for work.
