I am applying for financial assistance for a consumer who has been significantly impacted by the bushfires and is currently living on a Centrelink income. His water tank requires professional cleaning to ensure it is safe for use, however, he is unable to afford the cost. Unfortunately, he missed out on the available water tank cleaning rebate due to circumstances beyond his control, the passing of a family member and another being hospitalized and he was not able to access the support at the time. This has left him facing an expense that he simply cannot manage within his limited budget. Receiving financial assistance would help restore access to safe water and relieve a significant financial burden. I would be deeply grateful for any support you can provide during this difficult time as my consumer continues to recover from the impacts of the bushfires.
