Rural and remote family in need of support - no public transport

Single income family living in very rural and remote QLD- requiring assistance. located 82.4 kms one way from nearest Woolworths and no transport or access to public transport. Car is in mechanic and unable to afford repairs in next town over- car requires $2500 of repairs. Client is working part time and is on fixed income with community housing. Client is having to spend additional costs on basic foods as only a IGA and Food works are in the town to access food stores. Client is seeking support for mechanical repairs as well as food assistance with vouchers for the local organizations as per client suburb. client has 5 young people they are supporting, costs of lunch box stores are high given to limited choice in town. Client has no ability to access Woolworths at next town over with out car repairs completed- Formal quote can be provided from mechanic. Client is engaged with financial counsellor to assist with skill and capacity building of financial matters
