The kids have bikes- now mum wants one - let's get this family riding! Great for social connectivity and health in general.

Earlier this year we supported this family of 5 who have migrated to Australia from Afghanistan by referring the kids to a Learn To Ride program - the family loved it so much now mum wants a bike to so she too can ride with the kids. The farther is a wonderful man who loves Australia and wants to be "Aussie" - he has recently finished study and is now looking for work so he can provide for his family. The mother is a trained nurse but cannot yet work in Australia but is taking English lessons - her English is very good. The family visits our Community Centre when they can for food and to connect with supports and enjoy a good chat!
