Older woman experiencing systemic barriers to support
GIVIT
Single 55 year old woman with significant widespread chronic pain who is living by herself. Unable to get QCSS assistance due to condition being permanent, in process of applying for NDIS. Unable to bend to touch the floor without pain so bad she has fallen over in the past. Household tasks such as vacuuming and mopping cause significant pain to her neck and back, however, these tasks are needed to be completed in order to maintain her tenancy and prevent homelessness.
