16 year old expectant mum is experiencing significant vulnerability and financial hardship. She has recently fled a situation of serious family violence involving her stepfather and is now working diligently to stabilise her circumstances and prepare for the arrival of her baby. Despite these challenges, she is demonstrating strong motivation and resilience. She is actively re-engaging with education and is participating in addiction support services to improve her long-term wellbeing and parenting capacity.
However, due to her limited access to financial resources, including minimal Centrelink support, she is currently unable to afford essential items required for herself and her unborn child. Without assistance, she remains at risk of ongoing hardship and lacks the basic necessities needed to support a safe and healthy start for her baby.
Any support would provide critical relief by enabling this young mum to be to create a stable and nurturing home environment for her baby.
