Recipient story
As well as attempting to manage and gain support for bushfire debris clean-up, they also struggle with the associated costs involved in rebuilds and attempting to manage the control of noxious weed growth.
This is becoming a huge time consuming and expensive job, especially when there are still so many other tasks still to be completed in preparation for the next bushfire season.
The weed growth is not allowing for regeneration of the usual new season grass growth, which is much needed for livestock feed.
The required livestock fodder is a huge expense for all farmers and is causing a significant financial drain while doing their best to keep their stock happy and healthy.
Although the fields appear to be changing from black to green, they are still not producing any worthy feed for hungry livestock or for the concerned farmers.
Thank you for taking the time to consider helping.
