Client relocated to the Northern Rivers after escaping domestic violence in search of safety and a fresh start. Over the past two years, she has experienced ongoing housing instability and has been moved between unsuitable accommodation options. Despite relocating to access support services and improve her circumstances, she feels she is now worse off than when she first arrived.
The client currently relies on house-sitting opportunities and temporary stays with friends while continuing to search for safe, long-term accommodation. She is also managing a back injury and complex health issues, which impact her daily functioning and ability to improve her circumstances.
Due to ongoing financial hardship and housing insecurity, the client is struggling to meet her basic needs. Assistance with groceries, fuel, and pharmacy items would provide much-needed relief and support her health and wellbeing while she works towards securing stable housing.
