Sole mum of 7 year old daughter and 2 year old twins, struggling to provide food due to decrease in hours for the next 2-3 months.

Mum's partner is currently in rehab for addiction - he would contribute to groceries where possible but unable to due to funding rehab. Mum works shift work as a youth worker. However, her hours have decreased due to her mental health significantly declining due to DFV in the home. Now that partner is in rehab mum is struggling to financially provide for her and the kids.

Mum is seeking financial support to help last a couple of weeks while she engages with other support services.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
