Young mum, escaping violence, is now homeless and living in a very compromised in a temporary accommodation. She has multiple stressors including financial struggles to meet the needs of her family including adequate food for of her children. The family has 6 children including a 3 months old. The heat, storms and hail have made living conditions unbearable. The old aircon unit in the accommodation is no longer working and needs replacing.
The fridge at the accommodation also stopped working because of the impact of weather conditions on electricity supply.
Family requires a new fridge; however, cannot afford it because of the financial stressors of being a single mom.
Family is also seeking supports for the delivery of the item as there are no other supports around for them.
