The student is currently relying on an eight‑year‑old laptop that has become increasingly unreliable. Frequent shutdowns, slow performance, and almost no battery life make it difficult for them to participate fully in classes, complete coursework, and manage placement requirements. Each failure adds stress and disrupts their learning at critical moments.
Due to ongoing financial hardship, the student is unable to afford a replacement device. Access to a functional laptop would make a meaningful difference, enabling them to engage effectively with their studies, meet academic expectations, and focus on learning rather than technical setbacks.
