This single mum of 7 has experienced domestic and family violence during the last 15 years and has recently secured a safe home. Unfortunately, she will be moving to an empty house as most of her furniture was damaged by previous floods and a rat invasion. She does not have the financial means to buy all the items again. She is looking forward to moving to a house where children can feel safe and settled. This will not be possible without support from the community. This family deserves a life free of violence.
