She is currently relying on a local friend's washing machine, however she does not have access to a car and finds it difficult to transport the family's laundry. As a single mother caring for multiple children, she has significant ongoing laundry needs, including clothing, bedding, and school uniforms. A washing machine in the home would reduce this burden and help her maintain a safe, hygienic, and stable environment for her family while experiencing financial hardship.

This 36-year-old single mother of four children aged 3–13 escaped domestic and family violence two years ago. After her partner was released from prison, he assaulted her and made further threats. When his family also threatened their lives, they fled with only what they were wearing, leaving all belongings behind. Her Centrelink payments are insufficient to replace essential items lost.
UPDATE: 03.12.2024 - She moved from the city to escape stalking and violence from her ex-partner and his family, later leaving the country. Her ex-partner was imprisoned and has since passed away by suicide. Three children are staying with her family while she works towards regaining guardianship.
UPDATE 04/06/2026 - She is caring for her 14-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. Her daughter has recently returned to her care, increasing financial pressure. She continues to experience hardship while working to provide a safe home. Any support is greatly appreciated.
