Young person seeking a laptop so they can access education

Young person (YP) is currently in Year 10 with aspirations to complete a course in animal care and graduate from high school. YP previously had an iPad however the motherboard has failed and the cost to repair is greater than a new device. Due to the cost of living and family's financial situation they are unable to afford the repairs or a new device. YP's single mother supports 4 children, 1 with complex needs and the family has been exposed to ongoing community conflict which has taken a toll on the family's wellbeing.
YP are required to have a laptop for senior schooling as the school has shifted to a digital age. Content, worksheets, activities, textbooks and assessment are delivered and uploaded via the school's online portal. YP would also like to participate in a TAFE at school course which means they will need to access material remotely. Having a device will support their success in completing high school while also building their career pathway.
