This single mum is a proud Noongar woman and FDV survivor. She has three children aged 7-16.
Her youngest child has been diagnosed with global-development delay and her middle child has been diagnosed with an intellectual disability.
Recently her washing machine faulted and short circuited the house. When she turned the RCD's back on, the transmitter box blew away from the side of the house and destroyed the electrics inside the washing machine, and leaving her house without power for 2 days. She was required to sleep in her car with her 3x children for the first night until Western Power deemed her house to be safe to return to. She does not currently have a functioning washing machine and is having to spend large amounts each week to attend the laundromat and complete her washing and drying there.
We are seeking the support and kindness of others to help this single mother purchase a new washing machine to that she can continue to wash her kids school uniforms.
