Older pensioner with a disability. He volunteers 4 days a week and passionately contributes to his community. He is going through ongoing cancer treatment as well as supporting his close friend who also has cancer and dementia, and was affected by the 2022 floods, losing all his possessions. He also experienced significant damage from Tropical Cyclone Alfred resulting in expensive repairs required. He used his meagre savings to pay for repairs after the flood and the contractor took his money and did not complete the work, taking advantage of a vulnerable man. His kitchen and laundry sinks were submerged in black water during the disaster and he has had to reuse these due to financial constraints - yuck! We are asking for help to fund new and hygenic sinks, tap wear and tub. My client is experiencing significant economic hardship with the rising cost of living. He does not like to ask for help however is currently facing a situation where he feels he has few other options. Please help
