Having access to an appropriate vacuum cleaner enables the participant to complete essential household cleaning tasks without relying excessively on others, promoting dignity, autonomy and confidence in daily living. Maintaining independence in cleaning supports the participant’s functional capacity, contributes to better physical and mental wellbeing, and helps them sustain a healthy home environment that supports participation in everyday activities and overall quality of life.
