New mum to twins, born prematurely, mum admitted to hospital for PND
GIVIT
Mum had twin boys at 33 weeks, requiring a 6 week stay in NICU / special care, they are now 7 months old. One of the babies has been very unwell, requiring multiple hospital admissions and feeding tubes for dehydration and illness on a weekly basis.
The family are struggling for the basics as partner has had to take more unpaid time off work to be at the hospital while mum is at home with the other baby. Mum has also had to extend her maternity leave to keep sick child home longer before returning to work.
Mum has also required a 2 week admission to hospital due to PND. This couple also underwent IVF to conceive.
