54 year old woman who has shown extraordinary resilience despite a lifetime of adversity. She lives with the long-term impacts of childhood trauma & more recently survived severe domestic violence. Her abuser isolated her from all friends & family & subjected her to extreme financial, psychological abuse & fraud, leaving her without support & causing profound trauma. After years of abuse, her mental health deteriorated to the point she required a two month admission to a psychiatric trauma unit. She now lives with physical & psychosocial disabilities & remains estranged from family. After many years of homelessness, she has finally secured a stable, wheelchair-accessible apartment. Prolonged homelessness has significantly affected her health, leaving her largely housebound. This safe home represents a fresh start, but she needs support to make it a comfortable & functional place to live. Any assistance offered to support this courageous woman would be deeply appreciated.
