40 year old woman who recently escaped a family and domestic violence situation after experiencing two years of physical and emotional abuse. She is an immigrant and has been supported to relocate to safe, temporary accommodation, where she is now focused on rebuilding her life. She continues to recover from physical injuries sustained during the abuse and is receiving ongoing support from a caseworker while reconnecting with her community.
She has applied for Centrelink income support, which is currently being processed. In the meantime, she is experiencing financial hardship and has limited resources to meet her daily living expenses. She is committed to completing her studies and securing employment so she can achieve financial independence and establish a safe, stable future.
