The client is a 65-year-old female who has been experiencing homelessness for the past year. Client was forced into homelessness due to the increase in cost of living and financial pressures. The client was sleeping in her van within the local community and was forced to continuously move out of fears for her safety. The client has experienced trauma throughout her time sleeping rough and has exacerbated her existing PTSD. The client has also been diagnosed with nerve damage.
The client has been linked to multiple services in the local area and assisted to be able to access temporary accommodation. Due to the client's age, mental and physical health, it is difficult for them to maintain suitable employment and places budget restraints.
Client has recently been given the opportunity to have her own property but is unable to afford the necessary household items and furniture.
