44 year old woman from Afghanistan arrived in Australia as a refugee with her husband and three children. She is the primary carer for her family, as her husband is living with Parkinson’s disease and her daughter has an intellectual disability. Due to her significant caring responsibilities, she is unable to work.
The family is currently relying solely on Centrelink support, which is not sufficient to meet their basic needs. They are experiencing considerable financial hardship, as well as physical and emotional strain.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help support the family during this challenging time.
