This person is a single mum who has recently escaped a DV situation. In the last few weeks she has left crisis accommodation and moved in to a home of her own.
She follows a tight budget on a low income and has managed to avoid any significant debt. She struggles when large or unexpected expenses come in though.
This person is coping better in a safer community but has to travel further to reach her regular services.

Our partner charity has requested this donation for someone they support who is doing it tough.

How it's helped before

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
