Young father seeking fishing rod after being stolen whilst experiencing homelessness
GIVIT
Young man who has been entrenched in a cycle of homelessness has recently gained stable accommodation. This means he is finally able to have a stable foundation and basic need met to begin working on the goals he has set for himself. He is extremely motivated, and recently shared that whilst sleeping rough had his expensive fishing rod stolen. This was an activity he relied on for mindfulness, mental health regulation and as a way to bond with his son. As you can imagine, without basic needs such as shelter, fishing was a hobby he highly valued.
