Single mother raising two children on a low income. One child is legally blind and experiences severe seizures, requiring careful health management, including remaining cool to reduce seizure risk. Father is perpetrating financial abuse & has refused to pay child support, leaving the mother unable to keep up with rent & facing eviction. The family lives in a rural area where rental properties are limited and expensive, and the cost of living is high. With no public transport available, the mother must drive long distances to access medical appointments, schooling and essential services, placing significant strain on the household budget. Although employed, her income is not sufficient to meet rising living and housing costs while supporting her child’s complex medical needs. We are assisting the family to relocate to a more affordable rental to prevent homelessness. The new property is unfurnished and has no air conditioning, which is essential for managing child's seizures & wellbeing
