A 32-year-old Aboriginal woman is the primary carer of her 7-year-old daughter. The client has a significant history of domestic and family violence (DFV) and ongoing mental health challenges, largely stemming from the loss of both parents and subsequent family breakdown. These experiences have contributed to long-term trauma, social isolation, and difficulty maintaining stable supports.
The client has been reliant on Centrelink income support and has experienced prolonged housing instability, including several years in temporary accommodation. Recently, she has been successfully transitioned into long-term social housing, marking a positive step toward stability and safety.
However, due to financial hardship and the circumstances of her transition, the client currently needs new kitchen items, warm bed linen and warm clothes for her daughter for winter
