This young single mother recently escaped a family and domestic violence (FDV) situation and is now the sole carer for her young child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The family is experiencing financial hardship while rebuilding a safe and stable environment.
An iPad would provide valuable educational support through access to learning, communication, and developmental applications designed for children with ASD. These tools would assist with language, literacy, social skills, and independent learning, helping the child engage more effectively at home and in educational settings.
