They may be escaping domestic and family violence, experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, living with mental health challenges, recovering from natural disasters, or facing severe financial hardship.
Without reliable communication, many struggle to stay connected to support services, healthcare providers, schools, employers, housing agencies and loved ones. This can increase isolation, delay access to vital services, make it harder to secure housing or employment, and create additional safety concerns.
These individuals and families are taking important steps towards stability and independence. Community support helps remove barriers, strengthen resilience, and provide the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity, confidence and hope.
