Young mum with a 10-month-old baby is at risk of homelessness and struggling financially. She has a history of trauma, domestic and family violence, and has lived a transient lifestyle. Has AVO on ex partner who continues to harass and abuse her, to the point where she is too scared to leave the house. Recently, she had to leave her mother’s home as her 19-year-old sister who has severe ASD has violent outbursts which have escalated, creating serious safety concerns for her baby. The grandmother (client mother) has also resumed drug use, adding to the instability and risk in the home. The young mum is actively listed on all available housing registers, but demand is extremely high with thousands of people waiting. Update: She has now moved into a shared housing arrangement, which is a positive step forward. However, she urgently needs assistance with basic necessities, household items, and baby supplies. Any support to bring some Christmas cheer would also be greatly appreciated.
