A young person has recently moved into housing shortly after turning 17, following a period of family violence and homelessness. After experiencing significant instability, they are now working toward building safety, independence and a sense of normality.
Entering housing at such a young age has been a big step. They are currently navigating the challenges of setting up a home environment while also managing the emotional impact of recent experiences. With limited resources and support networks, establishing a safe and stable living space is difficult.
Support from the community would make a meaningful difference in helping this young person settle into their new environment and begin rebuilding stability, routine and independence after a very challenging period.
