Client is currently experiencing housing instability and financial stress while living in an informal shared housing arrangement. Recent conflict with a housemate has escalated and he has been threatened with eviction, placing him at risk of homelessness and this impacts his health negatively.
He receives Jobseeker support, working limited hours when his health permits.
He is also managing several ongoing health challenges, including chronic back and neck pain, breathing difficulties, fatigue, and incontinence, which significantly impact his daily functioning. These medical conditions mean that shared refuge or crisis accommodation environments may not be appropriate for him with his declining health issues. He has very limited social supports and no close family locally.
Material/ financial aid would help him maintain stability during this uncertain period and reduce the risk of homelessness while he works with support services to secure more stable accommodation.
