Client arrived in crisis accommodation deeply fearful and traumatised by the experience of violence which was perpetrated by an immediate family member. Initially, He was convinced he could not be safe here, or anywhere. He couldn't eat or sleep and felt constantly close to panic attacks. As time has gone by, he has realised he can be safe for now, and slowly he has begun to find his words, his sense of humour, and re-engage in an activity that he is talented and passionate about: drawing. His drawings are beautiful, and when he is making art he feels safe and peaceful. He is running out of supplies, however, and we are hoping some kind soul can help him to gain the means to continue to stabilise and heal through an activity he loves.
