This family of four includes two devoted parents and their children, aged seven and five, who both have developmental and sensory needs that significantly affect their continence. Despite ongoing engagement with continence specialists, occupational therapy, and behavioural supports, the children continue to experience involuntary bowel and bladder leakage, making their transition from nappies to underpants inconsistent. To maintain comfort, hygiene, and dignity at school, their mother sends five to six pairs of underpants with each child daily. The high turnover of clothing places substantial financial pressure on the family, as frequent leakage leads to accelerated wear and the need for regular replacement. To ease this strain and ensure the children remain supported with dignity while working toward greater independence, the family is seeking gift vouchers to purchase suitable children’s underpants. This assistance would help uphold the children’s wellbeing and self‑esteem.
